Hello Room 1!
We have some exciting news! Today we got a class pet. We got a blue and red fish and decided to name her Dory. When we are around Dory we have to practice being quiet, use our eyes, and move slowly. We could not be more excited! This is what we will be doing this week:
LA: We will continue working on letter recognition, and sight word recognition. This month we are going to be focusing hard on holding our pencils properly when we write.
Math: We will continue working on counting, adding, and subtracting. We are loving the counting songs on YouTubes channel, SuperSimple Songs.
Communication: This week we will be focusing on the words "stop" and "go". We will be practicing moving and stopping our bodies, and moving and stopping toy cars.
Important Information:
-We would really appreciate it if you could write your child's name in their winter gear (gloves, hats, etc.)
